vagina is burning!!!!!! It’s too much!

My vagina, specifically my labia majora is extremely irritated. It’s red, itchy, burning and it appears raw. I’m in my 20s but I just started having sex. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction to latex, but three weeks later — it’s gotten so much worse (I stopped having sex). I’m crying because it burns so much.
I am very close to just going to the emergency room! Or should I go to a gyno? I don’t think I can wait long enough for an appointment.
Doesn’t a yeast infection often involve an abnormal discharge? My discharge is normal, that’s why I didn’t consider it being a yeast infection.
Sounds like yeasty beasties to me. Do you have a way to irrigate (douche bag or one of those disposable douche bottles work best). If not, for now just soak the area in some strong cool tea. It will alleviate the itching a lot, but the best way is to douche regularly with tea and clean it out of there. Even get in the bath tub with enough water to cover your thighs and just force clean water in with your hand. I haven’t had one for many years, but I remember that relentless itch, so for an immediate fix, try those things.
When I just started having sex was when I got yeast infections too. It will calm down, but if you have a lot of multiple partners, then all bets are off and you’ll have multiple infections multiple times. Be careful out there!
